Government Communities

The Energy Coalition (TEC) designs and implements energy blueprints that engage your city, county or special district in sound energy practices for public benefit.

We are the architects of the first local government-utility partnership in California, the Regional Energy Efficiency Initiative (1994).

California cities and counties collectively expend billions annually on energy. Reducing these costs by even a fraction through energy improvements and better practices creates tangible working capital that can be directed to community priorities.

We work with government communities to implement a broad spectrum of energy-related policies and practices that create energy-related jobs, save money and improve the health and overall quality of life.

Our energy architects help you custom design strategies that target your specific energy needs. To ensure success, we bring a wealth of policy leadership and practical tools and strategies that generate savings and create your accountable energy community.
